    The Palestine Israel Ecumenical Forum (PIEF) has, based on shared principles, identified selected organizations to which links are provided below.

    The list includes PIEF-related groups, specialized church ministries, and other groups who are seeking a just peace in Palestine-Israel. The purpose is to underline the collaborative intentions of PIEF and to support access to similar information bases for the work.

    Churches and church agencies

    ACT Alliance /ACT Palestine Forum (APF)

    The APF's objective is to increase the effectiveness and impact of the humanitarian assistance and development work being undertaken by members through improved coordination. One of the projects of the APF is to conduct joint advocacy on behalf of the members of the forum.

    AFP is a part of the ACT Alliance which is a coalition of more than 140 churches and affiliated organisations working together in over 140 countries to create positive and sustainable change in the lives of poor and marginalised people regardless of their religion, politics, gender, sexual orientation, race or nationality in keeping with the highest international codes and standards. Members are associated with the World Council of Churches or the Lutheran World Federation. Read more...

    Christian Aid

    Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP)

    Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP) is a coalition of 23 public policy offices of national churches and agencies -- Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant. The work of Churches for Middle East Peace focuses on Washington in the knowledge that sound United States policy is crucial to achieving and maintaining just and stable relationships throughout the Middle East. Among principal advocacy concerns are: the avoidance and resolution of armed conflicts, human rights, arms control, foreign aid, and the unique nature of Jerusalem - sacred to Christians, Jews and Muslims. Read more…

    Comité Catholique Contre la Faim et pour le Développement (CCFD)

    The Conference of Catholic bishops of France has mandated the CCFD with the mission of mobilizing Christian solidarity in order to promote solidarity between peoples by acting for development. In order to accomplish this mission CCFD has a focus on development initiatives and public awareness on international issues.     Diakonia

    Diakonia is a Swedish organization whose goal is a fair and sustainable development in which living standards for the most vulnerable people are improved, and democracy, human rights and gender equality are respected. Bearing in mind the fragile political, social and economic situation in Palestine, Diakonia believes it is crucial to continue working for change that will add value to every-day life of Palestinian people.     Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine Israel (EAPPI)

    The Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI) brings internationals to the West Bank to experience life under occupation. Ecumenical Accompaniers (EAs) provide protective presence to vulnerable communities, monitor and report human rights abuses and support Palestinians and Israelis working together for peace.  When they return home, EAs campaign for a just and peaceful resolution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict through an end to the occupation, respect for international law and implementation of UN resolutions.  Read more...

    Finn Church Aid (FCA)

    Finn Church Aid (FCA) operates in more than 30 countries, wherever the need is greatest. Its work is with the poorest people, regardless of their religious beliefs, ethnic background or political convictions. FCA believes that lasting change requires the realization of peace and human rights through long-term cooperation with local communities and people. In the Middle East FCA recognizes political uncertainty, lack of democracy, war and conflict as factors that make people's lives difficult. Read more…

    Foundation for Middle East Peace (FMEP)

    Foundation for Middle East Peace (FMEP) promotes peace between Israel and Palestine, via two states, that meets the fundamental needs of both peoples. The Foundation is dedicated to promoting, a just solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that brings peace and security to both peoples. FMEP offers speakers, sponsors programs, makes small grants, and publishes the Report on Israeli Settlement in the Occupied Territories containing analysis, commentary, maps, and others. Read more…

    Kairos Palestine

    Kairos Palestine is a document that has become the foundation of a global resistance movement against the Israel occupation of Palestinan territories. Palestinian Christians hope that the Kairos document "will provide the turning point to focus the efforts of all peace-loving peoples in the world" in ending the ccupation. Kairos members believe that liberation from occupation is in the interest of all peoples in the region because the problem is not just a political one, but one in which human beings are destroyed.They make their call on God to inspire all, particularly leaders and policy-makers, to find the way of justice and equality, and to realize that it is the only way that leads to the genuine peace we are seeking. Read more

    Near East Council of Churches (NECC)

    The mission of the Near East Council of Churches Committee for Refugee Work (NECCCRW) in the Gaza Area aims to empower and strengthen Palestinian individuals and communities for a better quality of life.  The Gaza Area Committee serves the Palestinian people irrespective of religion, faith, political affiliation, geographical locality, gender or creed.  It is part of the Department of Service to the Palestine Refugee (DSPR) and is a department of the Middle East Council of Churches. Read more…

    The Israel/Palestine Mission Network

    The Israel/Palestine Mission Network of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) encourages congregations and presbytery mission committees, task groups and other entities toward specific mission goals to create currents of wider and deeper involvement with Israel/Palestine. It seeks to demonstrate solidarity, educate about the facts on the ground, and change the conditions that erode the humanity of both Israelis and Palestinians, especially those who are living in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza.Read more…

    The United Nations Information System on the Question of Palestine (UNISPAL) was established by the Division for Palestinian Rights in response to successive General Assembly mandates.     Al-Awda, The Palestine Right to Return Coalition

    Al-Awda, The Palestine Right to Return Coalition is a broad-based, non-partisan, democratic, and charitable organization of grassroots activists and students committed to comprehensive public education on the rights of all Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and lands of origin, and to full restitution of all their confiscated and destroyed property in accordance with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, International law and the numerous United Nations Resolutions upholding such rights . Read more…

    Al-Haq

    Al-Haq is an independent Palestinian non-governmental human rights organization based in Ramallah, West Bank. Established in 1979 to protect and promote human rights and the rule of law in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT). Al-Haq documents violations of the individual and collective rights of Palestinians in the OPT, irrespective of the identity of the perpetrator, and seeks to end such breaches by way of advocacy before national and international mechanisms. Read more…

    Alternative Information Centre (AIC)

    AIC is an internationally oriented, progressive, joint Palestinian-Israeli activist organization. It is engaged in dissemination of information, political advocacy, grassroots activism and critical analysis of the Palestinian and Israeli societies as well as the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The AIC strives to promote full individual and collective social, economic, political and gender equality, freedom and democracy and a rejection of the philosophy (ideology and praxis) (weltanschauung) of separation. Read more…

    The Alternative Tourism Group (ATG) is a Palestinian NGO specializing in tours and pilgrimages that include critical examinations of the history, culture, and politics of the Holy Land. ATG operates according to the tenets of justice tourism, that is, tourism that holds as its central goals the creation of economic opportunities for the local community, positive cultural exchange between guest and host through one-on-one interaction, the protection of the environment, and political/historical education.     Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions Campaign National Committee (BNC) The goal of the BNC includes strengthening spreading the culture of boycott as a central form of civil resistance to Israeli occupation and apartheid. The Palestinian Call for boycott, divestment and sanctions against Israel launched in July 2005 with the initial endorsement of over 170 Palestinian organizations represents three major components of the Palestinians - the refugees in exile, Palestinians under occupation in the West Bank and Gaza and the subjugated Palestinian citizens of the Israeli state. Read more...

    Center for Research and Development pursues a comprehensive approach to community development in Palestine. Through its mission, the Bisan Center has successfully initiated 50 community centers throughout the West Bank and Gaza, provided thousands of Palestinians with vocational training, and produced scores of studies and research reports about Palestinian community development. Read more...

    B'tselem

    B'tselem - The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories endeavors to educate the Israeli public and policymakers about human rights violations in the Occupied Territories, combat the phenomenon of denial prevalent among the Israeli public, and create a human rights culture in Israel. B'Tselem acts primarily to change Israeli policy in the Occupied Territories and ensure that its government, which rules the Occupied Territories, protects human rights and complies with its obligations under international law.Read more...

    The Combatants for Peace

    The Combatants for Peace movement was started jointly by Palestinians and Israelis, who have taken an active part in the cycle of violence; Israelis as soldiers in the Israeli army (IDF) and Palestinians as part of the violent struggle for Palestinian freedom. After brandishing weapons for so many years, and having seen one another only through weapon sights, these former combatants have decided to put down their guns, and to fight for peace.     Gush Shalom

    Gush Shalom aims to influence Israeli public opinion and lead it towards peace and conciliation with the Palestinian people. It seeks an end to the occupation, accepting the right of the Palestinian people to an independent and sovereign State, in all the territories occupied by Israel in 1967, and establishing Jerusalem as the capital of the two states, with East Jerusalem including the Haram al-Sharif as the capital of Palestine and West Jerusalem (including the Western Wall) serving as the capital of Israel.     Global Ministries are North American churches in the Reformed tradition. Their faith heritage and family roots are grounded in the Middle East and Europe. Because of this they accompany many churches, faith-based organizations, and institutions in the Middle East and Europe on human rights, advocate for justice and peace, engage in interfaith dialogue; respond to emergencies, including natural disasters and war; promote community and economic development; Provide opportunities for education—from primary schools through seminaries and universities; and witness to their faith even in challenging contexts.     ICAHD is a non-violent, direct-action group originally established to oppose and resist Israeli demolition of Palestinian houses in the Occupied Territories. It engages in issues of land expropriation, settlement expansion, by-pass road construction, policies of "closure" and "separation," the wholesale uprooting of fruit and olive trees and more.
